Birdhouses, Feeders, Baths

Birdhouses, Feeders, & Bird bathsEverybody loves birds. Well, maybe not all the birds, but the ones that come and visit our gardens, they add an extra dimension of pleasure to our time spent in the garden. Birdhouses, feeders, and baths - are the accessories we provide them. We're sure they appreciate it, but I don't think they could care less if it's hand painted, or just plain. This kind of approach to their design and decoration is more fun for us. It's a great decorative piece to any garden.
But when you pick that charming birdhouse, make sure it's practical too. It should have a section that opens to allow for annual cleaning, a small peg that extends just beneath the entrance, and the entrance itself should be just the width of a grown bird. If opening is too large, you're asking for the invasion of squirrels. And always place them high enough, well out of reach of cats and raccoons.

1) Outdoor Decor - really unique great selection of birdhouses. If you need very simple, or very luxurious house for your garden friends, you can find here. Search by size, pole-mount, or hanging birdhouses. Truly interesting collection. I've never seen birdhouses like the ones they have, sure to impress anyone. To give you an idea, just try to visualize a white house birdhouse :)

2) Bird Baths - based in Omaha, Nebraska, they offer the largest and most complete selection of bird baths, houses and feeders anywhere. With hundreds of styles, designs, and colors your chances of finding the perfect bird bath, bird house, or feeder for your garden and backyard are very high. Also find hanging hooks, bird bath cleaners and heaters, bird books, binoculars/scopes. They not only offer bird baths, here you can also find bird fountains, anything to provide a nice and relaxing environment for you and your bird friends.
3) Gardener's Supply- I especially liked their roosting pockets. It's woven out of all natural grasses and straw and seems to blend into the garden very well. They attach to trellises, fences or tree branches to provide safe, warm nooks for large birds during winter months and give smaller birds a cozy nest when spring comes. So they are really 2 in one: bird house and nest. Very nice and unique looking, and very good for birds too. They offer 3 different types of these roosting bird houses. They also have a nice selection of other unique bird items such as bird feeders and birdbaths. Read customer reviews on these items on their site.
4) Home Visions- they have 3 different and unique bird houses on their site. Very reasonably priced and sure to enhance any garden. Very stylish, some handcrafted and hand painted. See the image above as one of the examples.
