Roses

rosesNames: Rose, Rosa.
Varieties: 100s of type available
Cost: Most varieties - moderately priced to moderately expensive. Garden roses - expensive to very expensive.
Meaning: Red is for love, pink is for happiness, white is for silence or innocence, yellow is for jealousy.
Growing tip: the more sun the better, because they are prone to mildew. Proper pruning is very important for bloom production, so trim away old wood in the spring to allow new growth and blooms for the summer.

1) Michigan Bulb - New ownership as of 2001. They feature roses as a separate category on their site. So you're just one click away from finding a huge list of different types of roses for any garden. Any color, any type - climbing, miniature, hybrid, shrub, to mention just a few. Truly a great selection of roses. Sort it by price or name. Use this link to receive $20 off your order of $50 or more!

2) Spring Hill Nursery - In business since 1849. I had to search for roses on their site, because they don't have it as a separate category. But after using their search feature I was presented with 87 roses, which you can sort by price, name, and gardening zone. Nice selection of different type and color roses. Use this link to receive $20 off your order of $50 or more!
3) Nature Hills Nursery - They have roses featured as a separate category on their site. They offer a nice selection of rose bushes. Categorized by climbing, garden, and shrub roses. Total of 52 roses at the time of my search.
